The Wi-Fi amenity covers Wi-Fi availability, type, quality, coverage, cost and rollout. Wi-Fi rollout is tracked by exact tail counts (if available) or subfleet estimation, and broken down into three levels of chance (for example, some chance of Wi-Fi). Wi-Fi quality is evaluated by the underlying technology behind the system installed on every subfleet, such as air-to-ground or high-speed regional Ka satellite. Cost is evaluated by individual subfleet cabin as free, paid or a combination of free and paid.

Wi-Fi coverage analyzes a combination of systems installed on a subfleet along with the projected route of individual flights to determine whether a flight with Wi-Fi installed will exit Wi-Fi coverage during the flight, due to either geographical or political reasons.

Wi-Fi rollouts are tracked and updated continuously, and data is mapped to each subfleet accordingly.
